Reg;Style Sheet Link Provider error

HI All

Below is the error i am getting in one of the application in portal .

com.sap.tc.styles.StyleSheetLinkProvider _getStyleSheetLink

SEVERE: StyleSheetLinkCalculation:  LAFService is not available. Using external style sheet link "https://hostname:portno/com.sap.portal.design.urdesigndata/themes/portal/vct/ls/ls_ie6.css?v=10.30.0.227158.1".

I have followed the below note

1910490 - WebDynpro JAVA applications doesn't render with the running portal theme.

But this is not applicable for SAP Portal 7.4 SP09 .

can you please check and provide any of the solution/latest note.
