SAP Transaction Iview to me22n in portal has strange slowness issue. Need help in fixing the same.

Hi Everyone,

 

The SAP Transaction Iview to me22n in portal has strange slowness issue which is explained in detail below.

 

1. This Create Purchase Order transactional Iview from the portal takes approximately 15 mins split across the navigation within the transaction and the final save action.

 

2. This same above mentioned slowness didn't persist in Firfox browser and persists mainly in Internet Explorer.

 

Considering client is mainly using IE, we are having a need to fix this issue.

 

Could you kindly suggest what could be the issue for this slowness ?

Trex has been configured in our system.

 

Kindly suggest on the steps what we need to be followed to enable the search option.

 

Also on what basis the document search should be done? Do we need to follow any indexing?

Unable to find the property in config tool to get the mail notification

Hi Experts,

 

We are unable to find the ume.user_logon_problem_request=true property in config tool.


We need to set value as true to get the new password to email.

 

Please advice to how will get that property or how will add that property in configtool as we are using portal version 7.0.

UME Export - Connection Time Out

Hi Experts,

 

I was trying to export all user available from portal, for a requirement to update on some property associated with it.

We have datasource configured to LDAP (Microsoft ADS) on Portal 7,4.

 

I am facing below 2 issue with export from user admin on portal

 

1. The count of number of users, On Searching users with "*" and searching with specific parameter as "u_" (as all user id'sstart with u_<ss>  ) is different. While clicking "Export" after search always result with "Connection Time Out" error.

Connection Time Out and Idle Time Out property of LDAP Server Config in UME is set to 5mins.

 

2. The user list get exported will differs for many users from time to time. Its not the same always, eventhough there is no much modification on users list at LDAP level.

 

Please let me know, if you have any suggestion to correct this problem.

The Flash control is not responding. Possibly the Java plug-in of the browser is deactivated or not installed.

Under MSS tab in portal 7.4 shows error that flash contol is not responding. Possibly java plugin of browser is deactivated or not installed.

EP & WDABAP Stylesheet and theme root versions

Issue --> WD ABAP iView UI is distorted in portal

 


As per various discussion in SCN the cause of this may be the version of WD Stylesheet is higher than that of portal version. I tried to find the style sheet version of WD ABAP as per SAP Note 2080443 and portal style sheet version using note 2080430. Below are the snapshots of both

I am new to JSF develpment. In my project we are using JSF to develop custom applications.

I created a JSF DC in the development track of my project.

I delopoyed it successfully and I could check in and activate the activity for the JSF DC as well.

 

Now when my team mate tries to create that same JSF DC in this workspace, he is getting the error:

We have to do with Google server as we don't have SMTP.

Appraisee form able to view by appriser without submit by appriasee

Dear

 

we have stuck at appraiser and appraise ,reviewer,final reviewer, hr admin name

 

in performance management

 

when we login through apprise login without he fill the form apprise able to view his whole form but in real only after submit he can able to see that

in our case user4 is appraiser  user5 is apprise

 

kindly find the docuements

and reviewer also able to see entire form with filling by above both

user7 is reviewer which is not correct only after apprisee submit he can able to see

any customization has to be done ?

But new pass word is not triggering to email.

Custom task appears in UWL but doesn't open when clicked. Need help

Hi All,

 

I have a scenario where we have a custom task which has now appeared in the UWL but we are not able to act on it as it doesn't open up when we click on it.

 

As the requirement is to open the SAP Transaction and in GUI for HTML when the work item is clicked, I then included the below code in the downloaded XML file and uploaded it again. But it still doesn't help. As the work item just needs to open a SAP Transaction we didn't do anything about it in SWFVISU.

Task is not comeing in UWL inbox

Hi Expert,

 

Task is not coming/visible in UWL inbox but their in from SAP back-end side, have checked configuration of UWL and system object,its working fine.

 

Old Other task is coming in UWL inbox but this is new workflow which is created from back-end side,Have also modify xml and added task in file but no luck.

 

pls  suggest the same that how can i check apart from this.

Arranging portal roles in specific order

Hi.

 

Does anyone know how to re-arrange the portal roles / navigation menu in Netweaver 7.4 Portal?

I am referring to the menu where your "Content Administration, System Administration, etc.." resides at the top.

We have several custom roles, but it seems that it is in a different order for each user, making it difficult for new users to find their way around.

Apraisee able to see apprisal document without submit by appriaser

Dear
